DBX forecasts that Indonesian coal exports will reach almost 50 million tones, marking an all-time high for the country. The coal-friendly political environment in Indonesia is enabling miners to increase production from existing mines and develop new ones. Additionally, fair weather conditions are contributing to fewer operational disruptions, with healthy water levels facilitating smoother river transportation and barging in Central and East Kalimantan.
